Berks County Manufacturing DayResidents are invited to attend the “Berks County Manufacturing Day” hosted by the Greater Reading Economic Partnership on Saturday, October 3. The manufacturing industry plays a critical role in the development and growth of our economy. “Berks County Manufacturing Day” provides residents with the opportunity to tour some of the county’s leading manufacturing companies, learn more about job opportunities in the industry, as well as technical training programs that are available to jumpstart potential careers in manufacturing. Participants will be able to tour the following manufacturing companies: American Crane; Brentwood; Cambridge-Lee; Remcon Plastics; and East Penn Manufacturing. “Berks County Manufacturing Day” will be held from 8 a.m. until noon at the Reading Area Community College (RACC) Schmidt Training and Technology Center located at 10 South Second Street, Reading. This event is free-of-charge, however, participants must register in order to attend the facility tours. To register for this event, please click here.
