2016 Summer Internship Opportunity

The James A. Finnegan Fellowship Foundation is currently accepting applications for its 2016 Summer Internship Program.

Established in 1960, the foundation strives to offer exceptional undergraduate students with internships that will provide them with knowledge and training in government and politics.

During the 8-10 week internship program, students will experience first-hand the inner-workings and operations of state government. Selected participants will be given positions within the executive agencies under the jurisdiction of the governor and will have the opportunity to attend seminars with elected officials or appointed public officials and individuals in the media.

Undergraduate students attending an accredited Pennsylvania college or university, or resident of Pennsylvania attending an accredited college or university elsewhere, who have completed at least one semester, are encouraged to apply for a summer internship with the foundation.

Applications and supporting documents must be received electronically by February 6, 2016 or postmarked if mailed, no later than February 6, 2016.
