LED Street Lighting workshop for municipalities

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will be holding a workshop on LED Street Lighting in Berks County on November 9.

Municipal officials located in the FirstEnergy electric utility territories of Met-Ed, Penelec, West Penn Power, and Penn Power are invited to attend the free-of-charge workshop.

During the workshop, municipal officials will receive information on LED technology and ways to reduce utility bills in their municipalities, enhance the performance and usage of their street lighting systems and decrease the number of service calls through the use of LED street lights.

The workshop will be held at the Cabela’s Conference Center located at 100 Cabela Dr. Hamburg, PA 19526 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
