Argall Hosts Pottsville Open House

POTTSVILLE – State Senator David G. Argall (R-29) today invited local residents to join him at his Pottsville Office at 100 North Centre Street, for an Open House on Monday, November 16 between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

“As the author of Pennsylvania’s Downtown Location Act for state offices, I understand the need to provide services at a convenient location. The large geographic size of the 29th Senatorial District, four times the size of the House district which I represented, makes constituent service a challenge, but I am confident that the addition of the Pottsville office will offer better access to services.”

Argall said that the office offers a wealth of information on valuable state resources, including property tax and rent rebate applications, PACE applications, higher education grant applications, copies of maps, absentee ballot applications, voter registration forms, state brochures and public service information, state ID cards, renewal applications for vehicle and license registrations and other PENNDOT paperwork. The district offices also provide information and updates on legislation, as well as copies of state laws and pending legislation.

“Constituent service is one of my top priorities and this office allows me to directly serve the residents of this area,” Argall said. “Additionally, the well-trained and experienced staff at this office ensures that all district residents can get a timely response to any state-related problem or issue.”

In addition to the Pottsville office, Argall has district offices to serve his six-county region in Mahanoy City and Hamburg and shared offices in Tamaqua and Orwigsburg with Rep. Jerry Knowles, Saylorsburg with Sen. Pat Browne and Slatington with Rep. Julie Harhart, as a means of reducing costs.

Constituents are encouraged to contact the Pottsville office by calling (570) 621-3400 or by emailing the senator at dargall@pasen.gov to RSVP.
