WALNUTPORT – State Senator David G. Argall (R-29) and State Representative Julie Harhart (R-183) praised the work and dedication of the Lehigh Township Lions Club as the club celebrates their 60th Anniversary.
Chartered on January 15, 1951, the Lehigh Township Lions Club is celebrating 60 years of helping where needed with unmatched integrity and energy, both in the community and around the world.
“As a fellow Lion, I know a lot of dedicated folks have been involved for quite some time, and you don’t reach 60 years without doing something right. From the hours volunteering to the lives touched not only here in Lehigh Township but across the globe, I cannot say thank you enough for what you have done to make this world a better place. Here is to another strong and successful 60 more years,” stated Senator Argall.
Representative Harhart added, “The Lions in Lehigh Township have set the example of what happens when people come together for a great cause. Your abilities to provide those less fortunate with many services does not go unnoticed. Without your dedication and involvement, many lives would go untouched. On behalf of my colleagues in the House of Representatives and the over 75,000 Pennsylvanians I represent, thank you.”
