Senator Argall’s Statement on Governor Corbett’s Budget Address

HARRISBURG – Senator David G. Argall (R-29) released the following statement regarding Governor Corbett’s budget address:

“There are two reasons why Governor Corbett is facing such a terrible multi-billion dollar state budget deficit:

  1. For the last eight years, we had a Governor with an insatiable appetite for taxpayer dollars.
  2. Since 2008, we’ve all been suffering through our worst recession since the 1930s.
    That’s why this will be such a difficult budget.”
