Argall to Tour Papetti’s Hygrade Egg Products, Discuss Jobs

WHAT:
Senator David G. Argall (R-29) will tour Papetti’s Hygrade Egg Products, a subsidiary of Michael Foods, in Klingerstown to discuss jobs with employees. Papetti’s employs 175 local residents and was recently recognized by the United States Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration as a “Star” site, the highest honor in OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP). Papetti’s joins only 2,445 companies in the country that are VPP, and is one of only three food companies that are VPP in Pennsylvania. Papetti’s is the first egg processing company to achieve VPP Star status in the United States.
