Senators Argall, Browne Change Monroe County Office Hours

Senators Pat Browne (R-16) and David Argall (R-29) announced that as of July, their shared Monroe County office will now be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

In an effort to make the office more accommodating to their constituents’ varying schedules, Senators Browne and Argall have extended the office’s hours an hour before and an hour after the typical 9-5 work day.

“It is my hope that by extending the hours of operation of the Monroe office it will enable more residents with state-related issues to receive in-person help,” Senator Browne said. “It is important that all my offices offer constituents the opportunity for assistance in a one-on-one, case-by-case manner, and this change will provide greater opportunities for people who have other obligations during the current office hours.”

The Monroe County office for Senators Browne and Argall is located at 2164 Route 209, Saylorsburg, PA. The office will be closed from noon to 1 p.m. each day for lunch. Constituents may contact the office by calling 570-402-1499.

“We are trying to be flexible and meet all the needs of our constituents,” Senator Argall said. “We believe this provides them greater access to our legislative offices and the resources it provides for them.”

Senator Browne has maintained an office in Monroe County since his election to the Senate in May of 2005. The office has operated as a joint office with Senator Argall since Senator Argall was elected to the Senate in March of 2009.

This shared office serves residents of the 16th and 29th Senate Districts in Monroe County by assisting with many state-related issues including PennDOT, public welfare, labor and industry and revenue. They can also provide state-related brochures and forms including PennDOT forms, PACE and PACENET, Property Tax and Rent Rebate, driver’s manuals, transportation and fishing maps, low-income home energy assistance program and PHEAA.

Constituents in Senator Browne’s and Senator Argall’s districts can receive assistance with any state-related matter in each of their district offices.
