POTTSVILLE – Senator David G. Argall (R-29) and Representative Mike Tobash (R-125) announced that they will be holding open office hours on Saturday, August 11, from 3 – 6 p.m. during the 19th Annual Great Pottsville Cruise.
“Our Pottsville office has helped thousands of local residents with constituent services,” said Argall, who located the district office in downtown Pottsville in 2009. “We continue to work hard to provide good services for residents of the 29th District. I look forward to meeting local residents at this great community event on Saturday.”
The office, located at 100 North Centre Street, offers information on many different state programs, including property tax and rent rebate applications, PACE applications, higher education grant applications, copies of maps, absentee ballot applications, voter registration forms, state brochures and public service information, state ID cards, renewal applications for vehicle and license registrations and other PENNDOT paperwork. The district offices also provide information and updates on legislation, as well as copies of state laws and pending legislation.
Senator Argall and Representative Tobash share the Pottsville office space in order to save tax dollars.
Tobash said it’s a matter of commonsense.
“Sharing a district office allows Senator Argall and me to provide strong constituent services at a fraction of the cost by sharing staff, office space and resources,” said Tobash.
