HARRISBURG – Citing the outstanding voting record on behalf of Pennsylvania’s small business owners in the current legislative session, the National Federation of Independent Business named Senator David G. Argall (R-Schuylkill) a “Guardian of Small Business.”
Argall, who has worked with many small businesses to strengthen job creation efforts and cut red tape regulations impacting local entrepreneurs, stated his appreciation of the award.
“While we have made significant progress, there is still much work to do to get government out of the way of small businesses,” said Argall. “My priority is to support policies that help small businesses in the six counties I am honored to represent and to continue working to sustain and improve local job creation efforts.”
In a letter to Sen. Argall, Kevin Shivers, who serves as NFIB’s State Director, states, “The record shows that when the roll was called, you were a true and consistent advocate for Main Street small businesses.”
The NFIB awards “Guardians of Small Business” to members of the General Assembly who have voted favorably on at least 75 percent of important small business issues during the current legislative session.
