HARRISBURG – Senator David G. Argall’s (R-Schuylkill/Berks) office will offer information to help local seniors during two upcoming senior expos.
Argall and his staff will provide information during the Diakon Living and Learning After 50 Expo at the Fairlane Village Mall in Pottsville from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, and at the Berks Encore Senior Expo at the Body Zone Sports and Wellness Complex in Wyomissing from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27.
Information will be available on a wide variety of topics of interest to senior citizens, including state programs designed to assist older state residents such as the Property Tax Rent Rebate program and the PACE and PACENET programs.
“Seniors helped lay the foundation for today’s communities through their diligence and persistence. Today, there is a wealth of resources available to ensure they can continue to have access to the basic necessities of life,” Argall said. “Both of these events will help connect seniors with services that are available to improve their quality of life through access to health care services, prescriptions and recreational programs.”
