Thursday Conference to discuss SB 76–Property Tax Elimination–now tentatively scheduled for a first ever vote in the Senate next week

This Thursday, November 12, Stout Associates Realtors and the Pennsylvania Coalition of Taxpayer Associations (PCTA) will hold a conference on Senate Bill 76, the Property Tax Independence Act.

Senate Bill 76 has been tentatively scheduled by the Senate Majority Leader, for the first time ever, for a debate and vote on the floor of the state Senate next week.

During this conference, Ron Boltz of the PCTA and Senator Dave Argall, the prime sponsor of SB 76, along with several other local legislators, will discuss the status of the bill and its significant impact in helping Pennsylvania find a better way to fund our public schools and assist local citizens, especially seniors living on a fixed income, who face the annual possibility of losing their homes due to this staggering tax.

We encourage you to attend this conference and learn more about this proposal and its impact on homeownership.

The conference will be held from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at the Inn at Reading, located at 1040 N. Park Rd. in Wyomissing.

If you are able to attend this event, please let Sakura Ung know at sung@pasen.gov.
