HARRISBURG – State grants totaling more than $2.7 million were awarded to communities throughout Carbon County for key infrastructure projects today. State Sen. Dave Argall (R-29) and state Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-122) worked with local leaders to secure this funding.
“These highly competitive state dollars will benefit towns and neighborhoods across Carbon County,” said Argall.
“These valuable state dollars will go directly into capital projects that benefit communities across Carbon County – from ensuring access to fresh water to supporting our first responders. While projects like sewer, water, and construction might not be the most glamorous, these are critical investments that will benefit us all in the long run. Without this grant funding, the burden would fall on local taxpayers,” said Heffley. “I’m proud to advocate for these vital projects, as they will ensure our infrastructure remains strong without overburdening our residents.”
