Senator Argall’s TV Report Promotes Public-Private Partnerships

HARRISBURG – State Senator David G. Argall (R-29) will discuss the advantages of public-private partnerships with special guests State Representative Jerry Knowles (R-124) and Micah Gursky, President of Tamaqua Borough Council, during his December television report.

Public-private partnerships allow both governmental and private entities the opportunity to form collaborative relationships in order to improve public infrastructure and services.

“Public-Private partnerships offer a mutually beneficial way for government and the private sector to work together to revitalize many of our small towns,” said Argall. “The value of these partnerships is evidenced by the countless façade improvement projects, building renovations, streetscape and park improvements, and the list goes on – throughout my Senate District. We literally see communities rebuilding themselves building by building, block by block, thanks in large part to public-private partnerships,” Argall added.

The Argall Report is carried by local cable companies free of charge. The program will air on:

  • Blue Ridge Communications (Channel 13) every Tuesday at 9 p.m.
