Argall’s Legislation Advances in House and Senate Transportation Committees

HARRISBURG – Senator David G. Argall (R-29) had two bills advance in their respective committees this morning. Senate Bill 468, which cleared the Senate in May, passed the House Transportation Committee. This legislation would provide special vehicle plates for recipients of the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Bronze Star with Valor, Distinguished Service Cross, Distinguished Flying Cross, Navy Cross and Air Force Cross. Senate Bill 992 unanimously passed the Senate Transportation Committee. This legislation would provide vehicle registration fee exemptions for non-profit railroad and trolley museums.

“Both of these pieces of legislation were suggested to me by constituents and I am pleased to see these bills advance in their respective committees this morning,” said Argall, who noted the importance of input for legislation from the district. “Senate Bill 468 will honor brave men and women that have earned these distinctive honors while serving our nation. Senate Bill 992 will save money for our local railroad and trolley museums.”
