Berks TEA Party discusses state issues
The Berks TEA Party invited me to address their members on Thursday evening in Shillington. The event was focused on our forthcoming efforts on Senate Bill 76 – the Property Tax Independence Act. I appreciated the opportunity to talk about this key issue, along with other issues with concerned local residents. I found the discussion to be very informative and appreciated the feedback from everyone who was able to attend! Read more about the event here. For the last few years, my Capitol office has been in Room 16 of the East Wing in the Capitol Complex. However, I recently moved to Room 171 of the Main Capitol. My new office was once the office of my predecessor, the late Senator Jim Rhoades. If you are in Harrisburg, I invite you to stop by and visit! If you or someone you know is interested in a Capitol tour, you can visit my website to contact me by selecting under “Select an Issue: Schedule a Capitol Tour” If you would like to visit one of my local offices, you can see that list to the left of this email or on my website. 2015-16 legislative session beginsTuesday, January 6 marked the opening of the 199th General Assembly.
